Aberdare Ranges is an awe-inspiring landscape. Our love for adventure leads us to one of the best places to visit in Murang'a County for outdoor adventure. A hiking trail at the edge of the Murang'a border with Kiambu County.
The journey starts from Nairobi, with a scenic drive through the Kenyan countryside. It takes about two hours from Nairobi to Kimakia Trek starting point.
The trail follows a fisherman's path down to Chania River. We cross over and start climbing up towards the Ragia River. After about an hour or so of hiking through nature's beauty, including views from both sides, we reach our destination: Kimakia Falls!
It is impossible not to be amazed by how much water falls. Thrashing over the rocks with majesty on this mountainside- in fact, you could say that no other place in Africa has anything even close. But before I go any further with my story, why don't you reserve a seat and experience it yourself?
