Kiambicho Kiamuti Forest Hike
Kiambicho Kiamuti Forest Hike lies in the Kiharu constituency, Murang'a County. Nineteen kilometers from Murang'a town and five kilometers from Sagana town. Kiambicho Forest is the only dry forest in Murang'a County. Even though it's a dry forest, it's home and a habitat for many wildlife species. To List hyenas, antelopes, monkeys, and more.
The trails start at river camp Sagana via a suspension bridge. Kiambicho Kiamuti forest trail is about 17 kilometers. The forest is a resting point for those who want to escape it all. In good weather, this trail is also home to the incredible views of Mount Kilimambogo, the extensive Aberdare range, and the neighboring Mwea Plains. In fact, the Kiambicho Kiamuti forest is at the edge of the southern Aberdare range. This is a moderate trail and can be attempted throughout the year.
