Samburu National Reserve Safari

Samburu National Reserve, One of the most well-known safari destinations in East Africa, is a top game reserve adjacent to the banks of the Ewaso Ng'iro River in Northern Kenya. Samburu Reserve is a one-of-a-kind wildlife conservation location known for its wealth of uncommon animal species, such as the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk, and Beisa Oryx. The reserve also has a population of over 900 elephants. Large predators such as the Lion, Cheetah, and Leopard are popular (Kamunyak, the renowned Lioness who adapted a young Oryx, lives in reserve). It is among the best places in Kenya to see a leopard and wild dogs. For bird viewers, they can view the over 450 species of birds in the reserve.

The best way to access Samburu National Reserve is by road from Nairobi, which will need you to cover a distance of approximately 340 km.
