Experience the privilege of touring a historic tea plantation in Kenya. Kiambethu tea farm is an opportunity that anyone can explore. Tea is more than just water boiled with leaves. it’s history, traditions & Culture carved out of past generations. Kiambethu tea farm is next to Limuru Girls high school. 34.1 kilometers from Nairobi City. It takes between forty to one hour, depending on the traffic flow. After that, you can choose to visit Turi a Mumbi to touch Kikuyu Culture. Besides Culture, you can enjoy the cuisine and a short hike. 

(B.) Tour Itinerary

Pick up from Nairobi Town/Accommodation facility and depart at 0900hrs. Arrive at Kiambethu Tea Estate at 1100hrs am. The tour will help you learn the process of growing, picking, and processing Kenyan Tea. Enjoy exclusive reception with homemade biscuits (yum and arrowroots) and Tea. Later on, walk to the tea plantation. The Tour guide will lead you through the gardens around the home and a walk in the indigenous forest. This forest is still natural; Colobus monkeys make the walk in the green indigenous forest even more beautiful. You will have sighted and connected much more with nature beyond your expectation for nature lovers. The tour ends with a relaxed lunch late afternoon.
Lunch is a 3-course affair. In addition, Complimentary beverages, soft drinks, and of course, teas, and coffee! Kindly let us know in advance in case of any special dietary arrangements. Return to the city arriving at around 1745hrs.
